With over 3.8 million units sold and a century-long history, TVS, the world's fourth largest motorcycle manufacturer, arrives in the Iberian Peninsula through the Multimoto Group as the exclusive importer in Portugal and Spain.

 

 

The Multimoto Group has added TVS Motor, owned by one of the world's largest motorcycle manufacturers, to its brand portfolio. With this move, the Group becomes the first official private importer in Europeconsolidating its position as a leader in the import and distribution of two-wheeled vehicles in Portugal and Spain.

The introduction of TVS marks its launch, based on five strategic moments/pillars:

  • The official presentation of the brand and its first participation in the international motorcycle show - EICMA 2025 from November 6 to 9 in Milan.
  • The implementation of the dealer network (sales and after-sales) in Spain, still in 2025.
  • Creation of a retail network for Portugal (sales and after-sales) in 2026.
  • Establishment of an after-sales network of excellence in the Iberian Peninsula, alongside the sales networks.
  • Implementation of a communication and marketing strategy tailored to the needs of the European market and customers, with the aim of positioning TVS as a benchmark brand in its segment.

TVS Motor Company, founded in 1911 in India, ranks fourth worldwide among motorcycle manufacturers, with approximately 3.8 million units sold in 2024 and growth of 9.8% in 2025..

The brand has a wide range of 12 models, including motorcycles and scooters with combustion and electric engines.

Among its most notable models are the RTR 310 and RR 310, which will soon be available in our market and represent the perfect combination of design, technology, and sporting performance.

Milestones in TVS's success story:

  • Since 2013, it has maintained a strategic alliance with BMW Motorrad for the joint development of motorcycles, which has resulted in models such as the BMW G 310 R and TVS Apache RR 310.
  • In 2020, it acquired the historic British brand Nortonreaffirming its ambition for growth.
  • It recently strengthened its innovation capacity with the purchase of Italian design company Engines Engineering (Bologna), which became its Global Center of Excellence in Design..
