ITALIAN BRAND REACHES 3RD PLACE OVERALL IN THE SALES RANKING IN 2023.
In 2023, Benelli recorded its best ever year in terms of sales on the Portuguese market, and since joining the giant GEELY automotive group in 2016, along with the introduction of new models, it has now reached the "Top 3" in the Portuguese registration ranking. In 2023, the Pesaro brand registered 2,494 vehicles in the Motorbike segment, up 13.2 per cent on the previous year*, only surpassed by the Japanese Honda and Yamaha. The popularity of the TRK range grew in 2023 with the arrival of the long-awaited TRK 702, which from mid-August until the end of the year registered no less than 628 registrations across the two versions available (TRK 702 and TRK 702 X), making it one of the best-selling motorbikes on the Portuguese market in just over four months. To date, since the introduction of the TRK 502 in mid-2017 in Portugal, Benelli's Trail range has already totalled 5,000 units in circulation, which shows its clear affirmation in this segment with a clear quality/price ratio and performance. Benelli is also one of the best-selling brands in Portugal, with only three models on the market to date: the Leoncino 125 scrambler, the BN 125 utility bike and the fun TNT 125 naked bike. With a broadly complete range, soon to be joined by the latest novelties presented in Milan (EICMA), Benelli has clear objectives of continuing to establish itself as one of the most popular and best-selling brands on the national market. *Source: ACAP - Automobile Association of Portugal. |
