Segway Powersports crowned National Off-Road Champion by brands

The final stage of the SSV Villain Cup 2025 took place between 21 and 23 November, as part of the Baja de Lagos, marking the end of a season full of adrenaline and challenges. This single-brand trophy, exclusive to Segway Powersports' SSV Villain SX10 X, once again demonstrated the strength and reliability of the brand on demanding terrain.

With six races throughout the year, the Villain Cup trophy has established itself as a benchmark in the national off-road scene, bringing together drivers and teams who share the philosophy of “Fear No Place”. In Lagos, the Villain SX10 X faced challenging selective sectors, confirming the robustness and performance that characterise Segway Powersports.

The duo Micael Vitória and Fábio Pratas not only clinched the final victory in the 2025 SSV Villain Cup trophy, but also led Segway Powersports to its first national title, becoming National SSV Off-Road Champions in the TT2 category.

Luís Lourenço and Ana Lopes, the winning duo of the first edition of the SSV Villain Cup trophy, finished 2025 in second place, followed by newcomer Tito Sousa.

Great highlight for the new Super Villain SX20 Turbo at Baja de Lagos

The big news this year was the presence of the Super Villain SX20 Turbo, a model already available on the Portuguese market, which represents the top of the range from Segway Powersports. With a turbo engine and advanced technology, this vehicle impressed with its power and stability, becoming the centre of attention in the paddock and in the more technical sectors of the race. Its participation reinforces the brand's commitment to innovation and the evolution of the SSV segment.

Segway Powersports driver and ambassador André Rodrigues, teamed up with Ricardo Porto Nunes (co-driver), arrived at the Baja de Lagos determined to make history with the Super Villain. Despite two punctures that knocked them out of the top spots on the first day of the race, on Sunday they dominated SS2, finishing the race in a fantastic second place overall, just seconds away from victory (starting from 22nd place after a penalty).

Straight from asphalt rallies to off-road racing, João and Luís Araújo, also at the wheel of a Super Villain SX20 T, finished the final classification in 8th place overall, proving the enormous potential of this SSV Turbo from Segway Powersports.

In addition to the competition, the brand's presence was reinforced with visibility and proximity actions with fans, underlining Segway's commitment to promoting unique and innovative experiences in the off-road world.
